Betty was born on October 11th, 1948. Betty's father was Harry Powers and her mother was Ethel Susan DeGroat. Her paternal grandparents were Michael Powers and Ina Olivia Staley; her maternal grandparents were Nelson M. DeGroat and Elizabeth E. Carr. She had four sisters named Joyce, Barbara, Shirley and Nancy. She died at the age of 56 on August 16th, 2005.
