- Kathlenn P. Huttick, 54, of 2837 Southwick Dr., Lancaster, went to meet her Maker Thursday, April 20th.
She was the wife of Allen R. Huttick, with whom she had celebrated their 33rd wedding anniversary this past April 14th.
Born in Waterbury, Conn., Kathleen was the daughter of Delia M. Collins Gallagher, of College Point, N.Y., and the late Michael G. Gallagher.
She had been a homemaker, and also worked on Wall Street with the firm of Hornblower and Weaks as a stock mover, and had also worked at the Avon Corp. Testing Center in New York.
She was a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church, where she had been involved in many church activities. Kathleen also had been involved in Cub Scout and Boys Scouts, and was an avid camper, being a member of the Outdoor World Camping Resort. She was also active with her husband in many charities affiliated with the Knights of Columbus St. Elizabeth Anne Seton Council 6810.
A creative person by nature, Kathleen was known for her talents with art and crafts.
In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by two sons: Brian R. of Columbia, and Brendan A. of Bermuda. She is also survived by two brothers: John P., married to Kelly Gallagher of Wantagh, N.Y., and Patrick T. Gallagher of College Point, N.Y.; and by two sisters: Maureen, married to Paul Cross of Rockaway Twp., N.J., and Eileen, married to Gerry McGuirk of College Point, N.Y. She was preceded in death by a brother, Michael E. Gallagher.
Friends will be received Monday at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home and Chapel, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz from 2-4 p.m., and 6-9 p.m., with the Rosary being recited at 8:15 p.m. On Tuesday, friends may call again at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 601 E. Delp Rd., Lancaster, from 10-11 a.m., with Mass to follow at 11 a.m. Interment in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Kathleen's memory to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, 60 E. 56th St, 8th Floor, New York, NY 10022.
